RUR@CT membership

The RUR@CT network provides capitalization tools for the transfer of good practices between regions at european level :

A cooperation network gathering european regions politically involved for promoting rural innovation at operational and regional level, but also within a strategic perspective at European level.

A resource center providing methodological tools and an updated database with regional good practices for rural areas and analyzed in terms of transferability.

A field of experimentation for European regions allowing them to exchange and find solutions face to global challenges of rural territories (demographic evolutions, climate change, energy crisis, social and economic development) with the prospect of Lisbon and Göteborg priorities in terms of innovation, competitiveness and sustainable development.

An operational tool, aiming at demonstrating the capacity of cooperation to feed regional policies and reinforce their efficiency regarding the european strategy « Regions for economic change ».
