International committee

After the 2007 election the political work in the county authority was organised in three committees, one of them being the international committee. The committee is chaired by Kjetil Lundemoen (Labour Party) and has seven members.

The committee is responsible for developing policies for Oppland county authority's international engagement.

At the beginning of 2008 the international committee started to work on a new international strategy for Oppland county authority. During the process the 26 municipalities and various institutions in the county were invited to give their comments and proposals. The strategy was finally approved by the County Council on 21 October 2008.
