Logo Oslo Region European OfficeOppland county authority is a member of the Oslo Region European Office which was established in Brussels in September 2003. This office serves as a competence center that aims to promote the interests of its members in the European regional cooperation. The office acts as a tool for increased participation in the community of European regions and in projects within EU-programs where players in the Oslo Region are eligible for participation.

 

Oppland county authority participates in the Eastern Norway County Network, which is a voluntary co-operation between eight counties. The basic aims for participating in the network are:

  • to influence the development of the region, by making joint approaches towards decision-making bodies
  • to achieve better and more efficient solutions for matters within the responsibilities of the county, by division of work and joint projects.

 

Oppland county authority also cooperates closely with municipalities, organisations, companies and education providers in Oppland.
